NOW ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS!

If you know of a nonprofit organization in your community that could benefit from a grant, encourage them to apply.

How can I help?

Your spare change can make a big difference through the Members Helping Members Program. Each month, participating Southern Pine members’ bills are rounded up to the nearest dollar, and the amount collected benefits members in Copiah, Covington, Forrest, Jasper, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Newton, Rankin, Scott, Simpson, and Smith Counties. For less than two cents a day, you can be part of making a meaningful impact right here at home. Working together, the cooperative way, we can make a difference.

How does it work?

Members Helping Members works with the power of members. Southern Pine bills are voluntarily rounded up to the next dollar each month, and your small contribution is combined with contributions from other members. Twice a year, applications will be accepted, vetted, and reviewed by the Southern Pine Member Advisory Committee and funds will be dispersed to charitable organizations and first responders who serve our 11-county service area.

Who benefits?

We all do! The major funding categories to be considered for grant funding are:

  • Community Services
  • First Responders
  • Education and Youth
  • Enviroment
