Our Commitment to Our Members

At Southern Pine Electric our team is closely monitoring the ever changing news on COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We understand we provide a critical service to our members and our communities. SPE employees are committed to bringing you safe, reliable electrical service every day.

All Southern Pine Electric drive-through lanes remain open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Lobbies are now open to our members, but we still want our members to practice CDC guidelines on social distancing while utilizing the lobbies. Member service representatives are available from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and dispatch employees are on duty after hours to respond to outages and emergencies 24/7.

At Southern Pine, safety is always our priority. We have taken measures to protect our members, employees and communities by sterilizing our offices and facilities, closing our lobbies, scheduling employees with staggered shifts and isolating critical departments to help ensure their health and your continued service. We are following OSHA, CDC and state department of health guidelines.

At Southern Pine Electric, we understand that our only priority is to provide critical electric service to our members and communities. We take this responsibility seriously and we are prepared to continue providing reliable electric service daily. Southern Pine understands the financial impact this virus may have on many of our members and we will work with all affected.

In addition to our convenient drive-throughs, Southern Pine offers many payment options including:

  • Visiting our website at www.southernpine.coop,
  • Calling our automated payment system at 1-800-231-5240,
  • Mailing payments to Southern Pine Electric, Department 1340, PO Box 2153, Birmingham, AL 35287-1340,
  • Using our drop boxes at SPE offices for after hours and weekend payments.

To pay your bill online, you can login to your MyPower account or use MyPower Quickpay.

If you do not have a MyPower account, please create one to pay your bill, view your bill, monitor usage, and more. 

Attention Members
If paying with credit card, a 2.45% convenience fee will be added. If paying with e-Check, a $1.00 convenience fee will be added. You can avoid this fee completely if you pay by a different method. (cash, bank draft, or a paper check)
