This month, as part of a Back to School package, we profiled Mississippi Teacher of the Year Skye Morgan. Skye is a U.S. history teacher at Petal High School and a member of Dixie Electric. We also asked Mississippi Parent of the Year Tara Denevan for advice about how parents can volunteer at their child’s school.
