Southern Pine Electric Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Stuff-a-Truck Food Drive

TAYLORSVILLE—Southern Pine Electric held its first Stuff-a-Truck Food Drive of the year on Valentine’s Day at Piggly Wiggly in Taylorsville. All donations were taken to the Smith County Baptist Association to be distributed to Smith Countians in need. A TEC representative was also helping Southern Pine collect food for those in need.

“The generosity of Smith Countians always inspires me,” said Jan Collins, vice president of communications at Southern Pine. “We love our members, and what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to help those who need it most. Whether it’s those who generously donated or those who will receive the donations, we are so grateful for our members.”

Southern Pine holds Stuff-a-Truck food drives throughout the 11-county service area. For more information, follow Southern Pine on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) or visit southernpine.coop.
