It is a legal offense to remove, or attempt to remove, a Southern Pine Electric meter. It is also very dangerous. An account holder may be charged for damages or maintenance repairs. No one has authority to remove a meter unless authorized by Southern Pine, this includes contractors, electricians, or others.
